A Big Thank You

I've been away for a while. First it was because I needed to find a place to live come October and then it was a lack of an internet connection at my new digs. No internet was tough cookies... but thankfully I'm back now. I just wanted to thank the loyal droppers, commenter's and anyone else who has been popping in while I was away.

Shes in My Head

As soon as I saw this photograph I knew I had to include it in this blog! It looks like a picture straight from one of my dreams.

I dream a lot (its been my experience that many artsy people do) and I remember them on a regular basis. I have places I return to and this above photo looks like both the secret room in my apartment and the abandoned building I always get stuck in. And then of course there's this fish print... One of the more unfortunate scenes from my sleepy conquests.

Cupcakes that Bite Back

I don't know about most of you out there but when I was younger I loved the movie Casper and Hocus Pocus. Now it just doesn't feel like Halloween without them. I'm too old for Casper, I do realize this, but it was on my TV the other day... so I watched it. Hocus Pocus still has a place in my Halloween but Casper? well its not so great when your 22.


I made these Halloween themed cupcakes for Etsy. A Frankencake on the left and a Ghostly Vanilla on the right. Ok, I just made up those names right now and they're horrible but if I list them I'll try harder :)

Rare Gems

Maybe you've seen these delicate beauties around Etsy before. They come from the mind of a self proclaimed flea market junkie and are sold in her MaidOfClay Etsy shop.


All these pieces are hand sculpted from porcelain clay with much attention to detail. Some give off creepy vibes while others are just plain fun. Such clever design.

That Fifties Love

This is just one of the beautifully styled bathings suits in bettieb's shop. She clearly loves this retro style and I have to say I'm also quite the fan. This vintage pair of scissors make quite the statement. Whether your deranged and like to cut people, crafty or a hair dresser they just work :)

I found them in 27thAvenue's shop and still can't figure out why they haven't sold. Maybe its our crap-hole economy, although most top sellers are still selling like there's no tomorrow! Oh how I long for that day...

I've just started playing the game "Chocolatier". I'm such a sucker for those kind of run your own business types of games.

FringeLore is run by a 30-something year old girl who has a fascination with old things. She insists that No antique pocket watches were harmed in the making of her jewelry. All pieces and parts are considered "rescued".
